Ms. Ericka Coronado

Ms. Coronado has been in education for 14 years. She graduated from MTSU with a Bachelor's degree in Spanish in 2008. She taught Spanish from 2008-2017 here at Smyrna. In 2010, she completed her Master's degree in Administration and Supervision. From 2015-2017, she served as a dean and Spanish teacher. In 2017, Ms. Coronado left SHS to be an assistant principal at Oakland High School. After being gone from SHS for 4 years, she returned and taught Spanish during the 2021-2022 school year.
Ms. Coronado was born in California, but was raised in the Nashville and Murfreesboro areas from the age of 7. After being a resident of Murfreesboro for 25 years, she has recently become a proud resident of the Smyrna area.
She has 2 beautiful daughters: Elizabeth, 15 and Naomi, 9.
When she is not at work, she is spending time with her family. She enjoys going to church and women's group, working out, hiking, gardening,  watching movies and watching her daughter dance.
She is excited and thankful for the opportunity to be an administrator and serve in a different capacity.
